Seawings Express is a Canada Customs Bonded Carrier offering freight forwarding and cross-border shipping with fast daily service from Blaine to Victoria.
We make cross-border shipping from the U.S. to Canada simple, fast, and affordable. Whether it’s auto parts, electronics, cosmetics, food, books, furniture, or anything in between, we’ve got you covered! Alongside our Blaine route, we also run a Victoria (YYJ) to Vancouver (YVR) freight service Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
Best of all? Our rates are way lower than FedEx, UPS, and the other big carriers. And for orders that come in multiple boxes—like those from Amazon, Summit Racing, Target, Walmart, or Rock Auto—you’ll pay a discounted fee for every additional package after the first, if they get split up during shipping.

New customers start here! Please fill out the “new customer form” below so we can create import documents on your behalf, and contact you when your shipment arrives in Victoria.
Returning customers, we’ll be in touch as soon as your package arrives, no need to contact us in advance.
Have the U.S. company ship your order to one of our two partner warehouses in Blaine, WA!

Once your package reaches Blaine, we will ground ship it directly to our office, at the Victoria International Airport.
When it arrives, we will email you with pick up instructions. You have the option of picking it up and clearing it through customs yourself or appointing a broker of your choice.

How long will it take?

Can I have the shipment sent directly to my door?
It depends!
If you want to save on fees, the cheapest option would be by clearing the shipment yourself through customs here at the YYJ CBSA office directly and picking up.
If you do not want to make the trip to YYJ, you have the option to hire a customs broker for a fee. (we recommend King Bros.)
Once your broker has cleared your shipment, Seawings can deliver directly to your door on Vancouver Island if you live within our serviceable area.
*Direct delivery fees are calculated based on the shipment volume and distance from our office.*

If Seawings cannot deliver your shipment, you are welcome to hire a courier service of your choice to pick it up from our YYJ office.
Can someone else pick up for me?
To have someone pick up on your behalf, you will need to provide them with:
-A letter from you that states they have your permission to clear customs on your behalf.
-A printed copy of the invoice (order receipt)
-Their photo ID
How does pick up work and where is customs?
You will come out to our office with a copy of your printed invoice/receipt of what you are importing, we will provide you with customs forms, and you will take a short walk from our office to theirs, before coming back to our office to pick up your parcel.
Customs is located near arrivals inside the airport terminal, just beside the currency exchange booth.
Where can I park?
Parking is free in the lot near our office. We are located in the brown cargo building to the right of the main airport terminal.
What if I don’t have an invoice?
Your invoice is your receipt from the seller and must list the items in your shipment along with their dollar value.
You can email it to us anytime—we’re happy to print it for you.
Without an invoice, you won’t be able to clear customs, as the CBSA requires one for every shipment.
Rates
Boxes are priced at $20 CAD for the first 5lbs and .45c per additional lb.
Orders with mutiple boxes, will have “carry over” pricing applied.
This means the first box is priced normally, and all following boxes are priced at a $15 minimum, up to 34 lbs, after that they are .45c/lb.
Shipments from different sellers are priced individually.

What CANT I import?
Seawings Express cannot import alcohol, live animals, or functioning road-legal vehicles.
The importer (you) is responsible for ensuring all goods comply with Canadian import requirements and are permissible to import by the relevant regulating authority (Health Canada, BCLD, Transport Canada, or the RCMP). This includes holistic health products, prescription medications and supplements, live plants and seeds, food products, firearm-related items, e-bikes, children’s car seats and strollers, and similar regulated goods.
If you are unsure whether an item is permitted, consult the Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) or contact YYJ CBSA at 250-363-6644 before shipping.
What’s a broker?
Customs brokers handle the paperwork to clear your imports, collect any duties and taxes, and act as the go-between between you and the government.
They charge a fee—typically a percentage of your shipment’s value.
Looking for a customs broker? We highly recommend King Bros. Limited—a local, family-owned company operating since 1911. They’ll expedite your shipment’s release while ensuring full compliance with all government regulations.

“Seawings” is likely not on the label of your package, which means it is stuck at the Blaine warehouse.
This can happen even if “Seawings” is visible on your invoice.
